We do not have any litters planned at Blazingstar in 2011. Our focus this year is on training and showing our young dogs.
Tinbie's sister, Annie, HRCH Blazingstar Beaufort CDX SH, was bred to Ch Black Walnut Asclepius MH AX OAJ WCX HOF just before Christmas, using frozen semen - see www.songdogflatcoats.com. Songdog flat-coated retrievers are in Indiana, USA. Annie whelped 5 healthy puppies on February 16th (2 liver girls, 2 black girls and 1 liver male).

REMUS
TEVA
We are thankful to Hayley Tomlinson for letting us use Remus. We couldn't be happier with the puppies from this litter. We first fell in love with Remus when Hayley sent us puppy photos of him and then we got the chance to meet him in person in October 2008 and again in March 2010. Remus has done very well in the show ring and is also used as a picking-up dog on shoots. He has sired two very promising litters in the UK and we are excited to be able to use him here. Remus has a hip score of 3:3 (BVA), normal patellae, eyes clear, gonioscopy unaffected.
Teva is Tinbie's littersister. She lives in Edmonton with her owners and our good friends, Darren and Michele. Teva is a dynamo of energy when there is something to do, but like her mother, she is very laid-back and easygoing in the house. Teva likes to leap into the air and often gives the impression of being on springs. She has a pretty, feminine head, super topline and tailset and sound movement. Her coat is strikingly dark and her owners are probably tired of being told how gorgeous it is! Teva has a leg on her CD and has excellent skills in the field. Teva's hips are OFA Excellent and CERF (eyes) clear.
